Commissioned by agency Consid, our work on Vellinge Icons, a Scandi-designed lifestyle magazine, showcases southern Swedish municipality Vellinge’s unique places, people and stories to build local pride and elevate the community’s brand. We crafted five articles: a feature on Vellinge locals Christina and Claes Lindqvist’s photo art collection; a piece on the innovative and sustainable building Mariastugan; an interview with three local chefs; a conversation with Dan Tedestål, founder of Vellingeblomman; and our personal highlight, an exploration of iconic architect and designer Josef Frank’s Villa Carlsten. Our collaboration with Consid brought to life authentic stories of a community that continues to inspire.
Vellinge Icons has earned a nomination for the Svenska Designpriset design award in 2024.
